Windows 11, version 22H2 September Moment

Microsoft Copilot in Windows will gradually rollout starting September 26, 2023. Microsoft uses its Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR) technology for the update distribution. As such, not all devices receive Microsoft Copilot in Windows immediately upon rollout.

  • Consumers who want to get it ASAP can turn on the toggle to get the latest updates on Settings > Windows Update.

Windows 11, version 23H2 (build 22631)

  • Microsoft Copilot in Windows is enabled by default in Windows 11, version 23H2.
  • Commercial customers can disable Microsoft Copilot in Windows using Group Policy or Modern Device Management (MDM This hyperlink is taking you to a website outside of Dell Technologies.).
