Symptoms

The file system agent push update to 19.15 failed with ERROR ASPU0026 and ASPU0005 for one windows host.

Symptoms found in the logs:
The installer log shows these errors:
 
[29AC:226C][2023-11-30T12:16:52]e000: Error 0x80070652: Failed to uninstall MSI package.
[29AC:226C][2023-11-30T12:16:52]e000: Error 0x80070652: Failed to execute MSI package.
[1394:1FAC][2023-11-30T12:16:52]e000: Error 0x80070652: Failed to configure per-machine MSI package 
The error 0x80070652 means: 
ERROR 0X80070652: ERROR_INSTALL_ALREADY_RUNNING.

Cause

This error is due to another installation which is already in progress.
Complete that installation before proceeding with this install. If running it manually, regardless to the IS installation, everything is working perfectly. Found orphaned processes in Task Manager.

Resolution

Workaround:
Search for orphaned processes in Task Manager. Kill them. You can then install the agent and register it successfully.
