Symptoms

Ik probeer apparaten te maken met symconfigure maar dit mislukt met de fout:

symconfigure -sid xxx -cmd "create dev count=1, size=100, emulation=FBA, config=TDEV, sg=SG_NAME;" preview -nop

De storagegroep is te zien in de "symsg list" command uitgang.

Cause

Dit probleem doet zich voor omdat de storagegroep een koppeling heeft met een snapshotbeleid. U kunt in de 'symsg show SG_NAME' uitvoer:

Er lijkt een conflict te zijn wanneer een snapshotbeleid wordt toegewezen aan de storagegroep. 

Resolution

Tijdelijke oplossing: Maak de apparaten zonder een sg=-waarde op te geven en voeg de apparaten vervolgens handmatig toe aan de storagegroep.
