将一个 VMDK 还原到原始虚拟机时失败并显示错误代码 ARV0007。
相关错误消息为：
Disk xxxx- "Hard disk x" has a changed size(in bytes) from xxx to xxx
Cause
备份后硬盘大小增加。
当 PowerProtect Data Manager 执行备份时，硬盘 1 的大小仍为 40 GB。备份后，客户将大小增加到 45 GB。
PowerProtect Data Manager 不支持将此 VMDK（硬盘 1）还原回原始虚拟机，因为硬盘大小已更改。

Resolution
如果将 VMDK 更改回原始虚拟机大小，PowerProtect Data Manager 允许将 VMDK 还原为原始虚拟机。VMware 仅允许增加（而不能减少）VMDK 大小。
解决方法是将整个虚拟机还原为新虚拟机 ，或 将 VMDK 还原到另一个虚拟机。
调整 VMDK 大小后执行的备份将正常成功。
