Dell Unity는 NFSv3부터 NFSv4.1까지 [NFS(Network File System)] NFSv3를 지원합니다. NFS는 NAS 서버별로 활성화할 수 있으며 NFSv3 프로토콜만 활성화합니다. NFSv3를 활성화한 후 관리자는 vVol, NFSv4 및 보안 NFS와 같은 추가 옵션을 활성화할 수 있습니다. 이후에는 NFS 파일 시스템 및 공유를 생성할 때 특정 호스트에 대해 정의된 예외와 함께 공유 수준에서 기본 호스트 액세스를 설정할 수도 있습니다.
UnityOS 4.4 이하에서는 NFSv4를 활성화하기 전에 NFSv3를 활성화해야 합니다. UnityOS 4.5에는 NFSv3 또는 NFSv4를 독립적으로 활성화하는 기능이 추가되었습니다. 이는 NFSv4만 사용하고 NFSv3 프로토콜을 비활성화하려는 고객에게 유용합니다. NFSv4는 vVols에서 지원되지 않습니다.
