Brug lincount-jobprogrammet til at krydse og tælle LIN'erne i mappen /ifs :

  1. Kør følgende kommando for at starte lincount-jobprogrammet:
      
    isi job start lincount


     
  2. Mens lincount-jobbet kører, kan du overvåge dets status ved at køre følgende kommando:
      
    isi job status



     
  3. Når lincount-jobbet holder op med at køre, kan du behandle dets historik:
      
    isi job history --job=lincount -v



     
  4. Søg i lincount-jobhistorikken efter antallet af LIN'er, der blev krydset:
      
    isi job history --job=lincount -v | grep LINs



    Output, der ligner det følgende, vises:
      
    LINs traversed: 1132

    I dette eksempel har mappen /ifs 1132 LINs, hvilket er det samme som 1132 filer og mapper i mappen /ifs .
