Symptoms
用戶端使用低頻寬或高延遲 WAN 連結備份至 Avamar 伺服器。
自用戶端啟動以來，它一直無法完成初始備份。
Cause
Avamar 用戶端的初始備份就是資料的完整備份。Avamar 伺服器上不存在的任何資料會在初始備份期間傳輸。
用戶端越大，「管道」越窄，備份越可能無法在分配的備份視窗內完成。
Resolution
針對此類型的情況，建議的程序是使用遠端用戶端的資料來「播種」Avamar 伺服器：

將資料複製到可攜式儲存裝置 （例如 USB 硬碟）。

在 Avamar Server 的本機用戶端上安裝 Avamar 軟體。

將可攜式存放裝置連接至本機用戶端。

對可攜式儲存裝置的所有資料執行一次性備份。

開始備份遠端用戶端。
