1. Resolve Printer Uninstallation Issues.
A corrupted printer spooler can cause the printer uninstall process not to work.
- Find your Operating System in this article and follow the instructions reset the printer spooler.
NOTE: Resetting the printer spooler may uninstall your printer driver.
2. Manually Uninstall the Printer.
- Then try to uninstall the printer software again, if not successful refer to the Manually Uninstall the Printer section.
For Windows 11 and Windows 10, perform following steps:
- In the search box, type printers.
- Click or touch Printers &scanners.
- Click or touch the printer you want to remove.
- Click or touch Remove in the upper right corner.
NOTE: Disconnect any USB cable from the printer, then wait for the installation process to tell you when to reconnect a USB cable.
