Overview

Dell EMC OpenManage Connection for IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus (ITNO) provides capabilities to monitor Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers, Integrated Dell EMC Remote Access Controllers (iDRACs), Modular Infrastructure (MX7000, M1000e, FX2/FX2s, VRTX), Hyper Converged Infrastructure (VxRail^TM and Nutanix XC-Series), OEM Servers, Storage, Networking devices and Workstations. The OpenManage Connection for ITNO monitors Dell EMC devices by receiving alerts on the Netcool/OMNIbus console. It also supports launching One-to-One as well as One-to-Many Dell EMC element mangers, consoles, and tools directly from the event context for further troubleshooting, configuration, and management activities.

• Event Monitoring - Monitor the events from the supported Dell EMC devices on the Netcool/OMNIbus console
• Event Auto-Correlation - Correlates events received from the supported Dell EMC devices automatically to focus on the current outstanding problems
• Link and Launch Consoles - Launch the Dell EMC device element managers and other Dell EMC tools directly from the event context to perform troubleshooting, configuration, or other life cycle management activities
• View and Monitor Warranty Information - Launch the warranty information directly from the event context for the respective Dell EMC devices
• Server Trap Information Configuration - launch the Dell EMC Server Trap Configuration Information tool to get more information about configuring SNMP trap information for the PowerEdge Servers.
