The health check is an off-release PUHC check that is contained in the Health Check thin package For additional Info section see KB 000192601 PowerStore: How to Check the Health of the Cluster Before Software Upgrade Using Pre-Upgrade Health Check and System Check.

Cause

If multiple replication session are unable to complete, NDU will freeze in the middle of the upgrade and not be able to complete. This PUHC check detects the issue and blocks the NDU from starting.

Resolution

  1. Check the status of the replication sessions.
  2. If any are not in completed state, pause them.
