This Dell article provides the firmware catalog payloads supported for Dell customized VMware ESXi 9.x branches. The firmware catalog is to be used for general ESXi use cases and not for vSAN. Below table maps the recommended firmware for Dell customized VMware ESXi 9.x images. This is a living document and gets modified as and when new catalogs are released.

NOTE:
  • The file named ESXi_Catalog.xml.gz is the compressed version of the catalog file.
  • ESXi_Catalog.xml.gz.sign is the signature associated with the specific file. Some of the Dell provided user space applications which consume the catalog file may need the signature file as well to verify the checksum.
