Cause
BIST(내장 자체 테스트)는 POST(Power On Self Test)의 일부입니다. BIST는 기본적으로 하드웨어 오류를 감지하기 위한 진단 테스트입니다. MDS 플랫폼의 일부인 여러 스위치는 BIST를 비롯한 전체 진단 테스트를 지원합니다.
칩이 손상되면 결과적으로 BIST가 실패합니다. 이는 포트 블레이드 모듈 내의 F16 ASIC 중 하나에서 하드웨어 장애가 발생한 문제입니다.
위의 경우 포트(9-16)를 담당하는 ASIC 중 하나에 대해 BIST가 실패합니다.
Resolution
하드웨어 ASIC 오류이므로 모듈을 교체해야 합니다.
