Cause
BIST （內建自我測試） 是 POST （開機自我測試） 的一部分。BIST 基本上是一種診斷測試，旨在偵測硬體故障。不同的交換器屬於 MDS 平台，支援一整套診斷測試，其中包括 BIST。
當晶片損毀時，BIST 會因此失敗。這是連接埠刀鋒模組內部其中一個 F16 ASIC 硬體故障的問題。
在上述情況下，負責連接埠 （9-16） 的其中一個 ASIC BIST 發生故障。
Resolution
由於這是硬體 ASIC 故障，因此需要更換模組。
