From the cluster logs, indicated that the secondary rebooted the primary node due to the cluster resource-monitored failure.
Cause
Reviewed the logs before reboot and found as following.
Resolution
With the error "Resource temporarily unavailable," this indicates that the OS was running out of resources.
In this case, check the SAR report at the time before the server rebooted.
00:00:01 runq-sz plist-sz ldavg-1 ldavg-5 ldavg-15 blocked
16:40:01 20 32595 9.01 9.97 5.46 0
16:50:01 15 32611 1.49 2.81 3.70 0
There are 32,611 processes running. However the max processes allowed are:kernel.pid_max = 32768 (Get this from the log file env.txt or from the OS command "sysctl -a | grep pid_max"
So this concluded the server reached to the max processes allowed. Customer may check with command "ps aux" to review if all the processes are needed or it could be the processes not stopped properly and keep creating new processes.
Fixed the unnecessary processes fixed the issue
