PowerFlex 3.0：將新裝置新增至 SDS 時的「裝置媒體類型不相符」警示

症狀

 - 將新設備添加到媒體類型設定為 SSD 的池時，MDM 事件中會顯示以下訊息：

影響

如果要將設備添加到細粒度 （FG） 池，則會添加設備，但會標記為錯誤且不可用。 

如果要將設備添加到 MG 池，設備將添加，警報將保留在 UI 中。

根本原因

在 VxFlex OS 3.0 中，由於各種原因而引入了集區和磁碟的媒體類型，其中之一是只能將 SSD 添加到 FG 精細集區。將新磁碟添加到 SDS 時，SDS 會測試磁碟，以確保它通過旨在識別 SSD 的性能指標。 

該測試有兩個指標：
- 發送到磁碟的所有 IO 的總執行時間。IO 會與磁碟內的隨機偏移量平行傳送。
預計返回的時間所指示的「快速 IO」百分比必須為 > 80%。

如果磁碟未通過第一次測試，SDS 會使用更多 IO 再次運行測試，以確保第一次測試不是僥倖。如上面的 trc 輸出所示，第二次測試（發送 512 個 IO）所花費的總時間超過 10 秒。此外，沒有一個 IO 在將其標記為「快速 IO」所需的時間閾值下返回。因此，此磁碟在 SSD 媒體類型池中被標記為硬碟。

首先要做的是移除並重新新增磁碟。 

如果磁碟持續顯示與磁碟類型不相符的效能指標，且傳回警示，則必須檢查硬體端。驗證控制器和驅動程式是否已正確設置，並根據需要運行磁碟速度測試。必要時讓硬體廠商參與進來。
