Symptoms

NMDA Oracle 19c Wizard fails with 'Out oof memory' message.

Backups succeed after creating the client manually.

Debug nsrorra.log showed message:
Loading library: /opt/app/oracle/product/<SID>/19c/lib/libclntsh.so.... symbol was not found."

Debug nsrorra.log:
nsrorara: 06/01/21 10:31:40.525195 Loading library: /opt/app/oracle/product/XXX/19c/lib/libclntsh.so
nsrorara: 06/01/21 10:31:40.548225 dlopen(NULL): failure = rtld: 0712-001 Symbol slmtrdrand32 was referenced from module /opt/app/oracle/product/XXX/19c/lib/libclntsh.so(), but a runtime definition of the symbol was not found.

Cause

The tsnnames and some libraries have symbolic links back to 12c libraries after upgrading from 12c to 19c.

Resolution

To address this issue, change the symbolic links to point to 19c libraries not 12c.

Review upgrade procedures to prevent such issues in the future.
