Symptoms

SnapVX en zDP hebben inconsistentie bij het weergeven van toegewezen tracks.

SnapVX QUERY FREE toont ze in DEC, terwijl zDP QUERY FREE TGT ze weergeeft in HEX.

Het is moeilijk voor de gebruiker om te achterhalen of het aantal TOEGEWEZEN TRKS zich in HEX of DEC bevindt. In de documentatie wordt dit niet toegelicht.

Cause

Dit is een beeldschermverbetering om verwarring te voorkomen bij het uitvoeren van SnapVX QUERY FREE en zDP QUERY FREE TGT.

Resolution

Documentatieverbetering: 
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.5 is PTF SF85081 ontwikkeld om het probleem te verhelpen. Het is beschikbaar om te downloaden van Dell Online Support.
  • Voor Mainframe Enablers 8.4 is PTF SF84156 ontwikkeld om het probleem te verhelpen. Het is beschikbaar om te downloaden van Dell Online Support.
