Symptoms

Server Dell PowerEdge con adattatore DP 10G/25G BCM57414 (DPN: H3T3V) configurati come uplink di uno switch virtuale NSX-T potrebbero riscontrare problemi intermittenti di disconnessione dalla rete.

Questo problema fa sì che tutte le macchine virtuali ospitate sul server problematico perdano la capacità di comunicare con i dispositivi esterni tramite la rete overlay e underlay. Contemporaneamente, tutte le apparecchiature esterne non sono in grado di comunicare con le macchine virtuali, le applicazioni e i servizi in esecuzione su tale server.

La porta della scheda di BCM57414 problematica è ancora attiva, il che significa che non è stato attivato alcun failover. Di conseguenza, il traffico di rete non riprende automaticamente finché il problema persiste. Per ripristinare il traffico, disabilitare manualmente la porta della scheda di rete problematica o riavviare il server.

Cause

Ciò è causato da un problema del firmware BCM57414.
Il traffico TX viene instradato alla porta di loopback a causa di una voce VEB errata.

Resolution

Applicazione del firmware Broadcom NetXtreme-E 22.92.06.10 o più recente per risolvere questo problema.
