The following error messages may be displayed if an issue is found during validation.

NOTE: The Microsoft Excel file generated at the end of an RVTools scan MUST remain in its original state. Any edits may cause errors during processing. 

Old Message: Error, invalid file format. Unable to bind data in workbook.

New Message:  Error, invalid file format. Unable to read RVTools file.

Causes: 

1. An exception has occurred while converting the raw file to JSON.
2. vInfo sheet does not exist / has been deleted.
3. vHost sheet does not exist / has been deleted. 
4. An unhandled exception has occurred during raw file conversion / data binding.

Old Message: Error, invalid file format. Unable to bind data in vInfo sheet.

New Message:  Error, invalid file format. vInfo sheet is not a valid RVTools format. Please check if there were modifications. 

Causes:

1. Powerstate column does not exist / has been deleted.
2. Host column does not exist / has been deleted.
3. Extra calculations have been added to a new line.
4. A cell value is not the expected type.
   
   

Old Message: Error, invalid file format. Unable to bind data in vHost sheet.

New Message: Error, invalid file format. vHost sheet is not a valid RVTools format. Please check if there were modifications. 

Causes:

1. Host column does not exist / has been deleted.
2. Extra calculations have been added to a new line.
3. A cell value is not the expected type.
   
   

Old Message: Error, invalid file format. Unable to bind data in vCPU sheet.

New Message:  Error, invalid file format. vCPU sheet is not a valid RVTools format. Please check if there were modifications. 

Causes:

1. Extra calculations have been added to a new line.
2. A cell value is not the expected type.
   
   

Old Message: Error, invalid file format. Unable to bind data in vMemory sheet.

New Message:  Error, invalid file format. vMemory sheet is not a valid RVTools format. Please check if there were modifications. 

Causes:

1. Extra calculations have been added to a new line.
2. A cell value is not the expected type.
   
   

Old Message: Error, invalid file format. Unable to bind data in vDisk sheet.

New Message:  Error, invalid file format. vDisk sheet is not a valid RVTools format. Please check if there were modifications. 

Causes:

1. Extra calculations have been added to a new line.
2. A cell value is not the expected type.
   
   

Old Message: Error, invalid file format. Unable to bind data in vPartition sheet.

New Message:  Error, invalid file format. vPartition sheet is not a valid RVTools format. Please check if there were modifications. 

Causes:
