Unisphere for VMAX: Errore: "Errore di configurazione di Unisphere for VMAX. L'installazione verrà interrotta. Impossibile avviare il timeout del database SMAS"

Durante l'installazione di Unisphere basato su host, vengono creati un utente e un gruppo postgres e viene visualizzato questo messaggio di errore:

Unisphere for VMAX Configuration Error. Installation will be aborted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please check the Unisphere for VMAX documentation to fix this configuration issue.
SMAS Database timeout cannot be started. 

# service smas start
Looking for config file at /opt/emc/SMAS/jboss/domain/configuration/domain.xml.init
Info: Start DB with check
ROOT Info: Start DB without check
Message > smasdb_unix_helper.sh SMASDB is starting.
Message > smasdb_u
Message > This account is currently not available.

Verificare se l'utente postgres in /etc/passwd mostra /sbin/nologin

Ad esempio:

/etc/passwd:postgres:x:504:504::/home/postgres:/sbin/nologin
/etc/group:postgres:x:504:

Per risolvere questo problema:

1. Modificare la /etc/passwd in modo che l'utente postgres disponga di una shell valida. Ad esempio: /bin/bash
2. Quindi disinstallare e reinstallare Unisphere for VMAX.
