Symptoms

Ana bilgisayar temelli Unisphere kurulumu sırasında bir postgres kullanıcısı ve grubu oluşturulur ve şu hata mesajı görüntülenir:

Unisphere for VMAX Configuration Error. Installation will be aborted.

SMAS Database timeout cannot be started.

Cause

Postgres kullanıcısının /etc/passwd Gösterir /sbin/nologin

Örneğin:

 

/etc/passwd:postgres:x:504:504::/home/postgres:/sbin/nologin
/etc/group:postgres:x:504:

 

Resolution

Bu sorunu çözmek için:

  1. Değiştir /etc/passwd Böylece Postgres kullanıcısı geçerli bir kabuğa sahip olur. Örneğin: /bin/bash
  2. Ardından VMAX için Unisphere'i kaldırın ve yeniden yükleyin.
