Symptoms

Tijdens vProxy FLR-bewerking mislukt de koppeling met de fout:

Unable to validate guest credentials: ServerFaultCode: The guest operating system agent has been configured to disable the operation.

Cause

Er zijn instellingen gewijzigd in VMware Tools voor het versterken van de beveiliging.

Het volgende item is te vinden in het bestand tools.conf in C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Tools.

disabled=true
Deze instelling kan worden gezien als 'gast-8. Tools-deactiveer-guestoperations' in beveiligingssoftware

Resolution

1. Verwijder de instelling voor gastbewerkingen uit het bestand tools.conf door C :\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Tools\tools.conf uit het bestand te hashen of te verwijderen.

2. Probeer de FLR-bewerking opnieuw uit te voeren.
