Warranty Eligibility

Your warranty coverage includes specific requirements and limitations:

Eligible customers: This limited hardware warranty applies exclusively to the original end purchaser and is non-transferable. Warranty coverage terminates if the product is sold or transferred to another party.

Required documentation for warranty service: You must provide original or copied sales receipt, device PPID (Part Piece Identification), or invoice from an authorized Dell retailer to receive warranty service.

What Your Warranty Covers

Dell warrants that covered products are free from manufacturing defects in functionality, workmanship, and materials under normal operating conditions.

Exclusions from warranty coverage:

• Active Pens: 3-year warranty period. Exception-Models PNS79X, PN3SOM, PN7320A, and PN7350A receive 1-year coverage
• Pen Nibs: No warranty coverage (classified as spare parts)

Connectivity Solutions

USB-C Adapters and Hubs:

• Models DA305 and DA310: 3-year warranty period
• Model DA300: 1-year warranty period

Smart Technology Products

Power Module 5000 and I/O Module 5000: Up to 5-year warranty period determined by manufacture date

Input Devices

• Keyboards and Mice: 3-year warranty period.
  • Exception: Models MS116, KB216, KB522, WM126, KB813, MS819, WM615, KM520, KM720 and MS510 receive 1-year coverage.
  • Regional exception: Models MS116 and KB216 receive 3-year coverage in India
• Palm Rests for KB216/KM636: No warranty coverage (classified as spare parts)

Alienware Peripherals: 2-year warranty period for headphones, mice, and keyboards

• External Webcams: 3-year warranty period
• Monitor Arms and Stands: 3-year warranty period
• Bags and Cases: 3-year warranty period for backpacks, briefcases, and sleeves
• DVD Drive (Model DW316): 1-year warranty period

Items Without Warranty Coverage
