Cause

LUN'er er tykt klargjort.

 

Resolution

  1. Brug VMware Compatibility Guide til at kontrollere, om VAAI understøttes af systemmodellen. Det skal understøttes, da de andre VAAI-funktioner vises som understøttet.

  2. Ifølge EMC-dokumenter understøttes VAAI Dead space-genvindingsfunktionen kun for tynde LUN'er:
    "Unmap fungerer sammen med VMFS-datalagre, der er klargjort ved hjælp af tynde VNX-LUN'er."
