Cause

LUNs werden per Thick Provisioning bereitgestellt.

 

Resolution

  1. Verwenden Sie den VMware-Kompatibilitätsleitfaden, um zu überprüfen, ob VAAI für das Arraymodell unterstützt wird. Sie sollte unterstützt werden, da die anderen VAAI-Funktionen als unterstützt angezeigt werden.

  2. Laut EMC-Dokumenten wird die VAAI-Funktion zur Rückgewinnung von inaktivem Speicherplatz nur für Thin-LUNs unterstützt:
    "Unmap funktioniert mit VMFS-Datenspeichern, die mithilfe von VNX-Thin-LUNs bereitgestellt werden."
