Cause

LUN är tjockt allokerat.

 

Resolution

  1. Använd VMware Compatibility Guide för att kontrollera om VAAI stöds för disksystemmodellen. Det bör stödjas eftersom de andra VAAI-funktionerna visas som stödda.

  2. Enligt EMC-dokument stöds funktionen för återvinning av VAAI-död yta endast för tunna LUN:
    "Unmap fungerar med VMFS-datalager som tillhandahålls med VNX tunna LUN."
