Symptoms

使用者必須檢查 LUN 是否進行精簡隨需分配。

使用 ESXi cli：

esxcli storage core device list -d naa.<wwn>

Cause

LUN 是完整佈建的。

 

Resolution

  1. 使用 VMware 相容性指南，檢查陣列型號是否支援 VAAI。由於其他 VAAI 功能顯示為支援，因此應支援此功能。

  2. 根據 EMC 文件，VAAI 失效空間回收功能僅支援精簡 LUN：
    「取消對應可搭配使用 VNX 精簡 LUN 隨需分配的 VMFS 資料存放區。」
