Symptoms

Avamar 垃圾数据收集 （GC） 进程失败，并显示： 

ERROR: <4202> failed garbage collection with error MSG_ERR_BADTIMESYNC

Cause

一个或多个 Avamar 数据节点与 Avamar 应用工具节点之间的时间不同步。

这会导致 Avamar 维护活动失败。

Resolution

1.以管理员身份登录到 Avamar 应用工具节点。

2.加载管理密钥。请参阅 Avamar：如何登录 Avamar Server 并加载各种密钥 ，了解有关加载密钥的更多信息。

3.检查所有 Avamar 节点之间的时间是否同步： 

mapall --all --parallel 'date'

4.如果时间不同步，请按照 Avamar：如何在 Avamar Server 上更改 NTP 使用 asktime 在所有节点之间同步时间。
