Symptoms

  • PowerFlex Management Platform (PFMP)-upgrade op een HCI-resourcegroep met versleuteling (CloudLink).
  • CLC-upgrade naar versie 8.1.2 met behulp van de back-up- en herstelmethode.
  • Secundair CLC-element toont verschillende NTP-IP's.

Impact: De tijd kan niet meer gesynchroniseerd raken als de machine geen toegang heeft tot de standaard NTP-servers die de oorspronkelijke NTP-server voor de upgrade vervangen.

Cause

De backup.sh script heeft knooppuntspecifieke NTP-configuratie die alleen wordt hersteld op het primaire CLC-lid. De NTP-configuratie wordt niet gesynchroniseerd met de andere leden, omdat de NTP-configuratie niet wordt opgeslagen in de CLC-database.

Resolution

Werk het IP/s van de NTP-server handmatig bij op het secundaire CLC-lid direct nadat de upgrade is voltooid.
