Symptoms

RecoverPoint for VMs 5.3 SP4 Patch 1 Splitter vSphere Installation Bundle (VIB) kan ikke installeres, når Sikker start er aktiveret.

RecoverPoint for VMs 5.3 SP4 Patch 1 Splitter VIB – RPESX-00.5.3.4.1.0.m.184.000 – er ikke signeret og understøtter ikke sikker start.

  • I vSphere 8.0-miljøer med RecoverPoint for VMs 5.3 SP4, understøttes programrettelse 1 – Sikker start ikke. 
  • For vSphere 7.0.x-miljøer med RecoverPoint for VMs 5.3 SP4, Patch 1 – Secure Bootunderstøttes med RecoverPoint for VMs 5.3.4.0 Splitter.


Løsning til vSphere 8.0.x:

  • Deaktiver sikker start på ESXi-værter.
  • Installer RecoverPoint for VMs 5.3 SP4 Patch 1 Splitter med indstillingen --no-sig-check :
esxcli software vib install -v /<Full_path_to_vib_file> --no-sig-check
