Symptoms

啟用安全開機時，無法安裝 VMs 5.3 SP4 修補程式 1 分割器 vSphere 安裝套裝 （VIB） 的 RecoverPoint。

使用分割器安裝測試安全開機時顯示錯誤：

[root@vApp13-esx-100:~] /usr/lib/vmware/secureboot/bin/secureBoot.py -c
Secure boot CANNOT be enabled
: Failed to verify signatures of the following vib(s): [RP-Splitter]. All tardisks validated. All acceptance levels validated


部署分割器時，ESXi 主機發生錯誤 （/var/run/log/esxupdate.log）： 

Could not stage image profile '(Updated) ESXi-6.5.0-2018050xxx-standard': ('EMC_Recoverpoint_bootbank_RP-Splitter_RPESX-00.5.3.4.1.0.m.184.000', "('EMC_Recoverpoint_bootbank_RP-Splitter_RPESX-00.5.3.4.1.0.m.184.000', 'The VIB EMC_Recoverpoint_bootbank_RP-Splitter_RPESX-00.5.3.4.1.0.m.184.000 does not contain a signature.')")"" reporting on the VC tasks.


如果主機處於安全開機模式，VM 5.3 SP4 修補程式 1 的 RecoverPoint 會在 53% 時失敗。
部署管理員中的錯誤：

Cause

VM 5.3 SP4 修補程式 1 分割器 VIB 的 RecoverPoint - RPESX-00.5.3.4.1.0.m.184.000 - 未簽署。
此分割器版本不支援安全開機。

Resolution

VM 5.3 SP4 修補程式 1 分割器 VIB - RPESX-00.5.3.4.1.0.m.184.000 的 RecoverPoint 未簽署，不支援安全開機。

  • 針對使用 RecoverPoint 的 VMs 5.3 SP4 修補程式 1 的 vSphere 8.0 環境， 不支援安全開機。 
  • 針對使用 VMs 5.3 SP4 修補程式 1 的 RecoverPoint 的 vSphere 7.0.x 環境 - VMs 5.3.4.0 的 RecoverPoint 分割器支援安全開機。


vSphere 8.0.x 的因應措施：

  • 停用 ESXi 主機上的安全開機。
  • 使用 --no-sig-check 選項安裝 VMs 5.3 SP4 修補程式 1 的 RecoverPoint 分割器：
esxcli software vib install -v /<Full_path_to_vib_file> --no-sig-check
