Symptoms

Precision 7875 Tower kan ikke starte til en PXE-server og fortsætte med at starte til operativsystemet (OS). Dette sker, når du indstiller BIOS-indstillingerne til følgende:

  • Wake-on-LAN (WOL) er indstillet til "LAN med PXE Boot"
  • Dyb dvale er indstillet til "Deaktiveret" med Realtek 1G NIC-kortet til at vågne fra S5-slumretilstand (lukket ned)

Cause

Precision 7875 Tower kan ikke finde status for PCIe-slutpunktets LAN-enhed PME (Power Management Event). Dette medfører, at computeren ikke kan starte til PXE, når WOL er indstillet.

Resolution

Du kan løse problemet ved manuelt at ændre følgende indstillinger i BIOS:

  • Indstil "Dyb dvale" til "Aktivér S4/S5" (standard)
  • Indstil "Boot Sequence" til "Onboard Realtek 1G LOM"- eller "NIC X710 DA2"-kort til PXE-start.
