Symptoms

Benchmarking-programvara rapporterar dålig skrivprestanda på Phison P0221 SSD-enheterna. Crystaldiskmark och andra prestandatestverktyg returnerar "Diskläs-/skrivhastighet 0" på NVMe-enheten (Non-Volatile Memory Express).

Cause

Enheternas fasta programvara (FM) kan inte utföra skräpinsamling (GC) i bakgrunden. SLC-cacheminnet (Single Level Cell) rensas inte. En fullständig cache gör att den fasta programvaran utlöser GC i förgrunden, vilket begränsar värdkommandon. Detta orsakar en prestandaminskning med tiden.
