Symptoms

When issuing a QUERY DATASET command and using the SOURCE_VOLUME_LIST parameter, the EXTENT information is not displayed.

 

Cause

This is due to a software issue.

 

Resolution

The QUERY DATASET command has been corrected to display all extent information when the SOURCE_VOLUME_LIST parameter is specified.

 

Permanent Fix:

  • For Mainframe Enablers 10.0.0, PTF SNA0019 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Technologies Online Support.
