Symptoms

ISSUE:
  • If DD Filesystem Cleaning operations are underway, DDOS upgrade precheck reports: **** Upgrade precheck found one blocking issues.
  • Precheck does not present any additional details or outputs.
AFFECTED SYSTEMS:
  • ALL DD models and DDOS version
SYMPTOMS:
Upgrade Precheck is Started: 
# system upgrade precheck <file.rpm>
Precheck fails at 100% with no reported symptom or specific error. 
Upgrade precheck in progress: Node 0: phase 1/1 (Precheck 100%) **** Upgrade precheck found 1 blocking issue(s).
Check the 'infra.log' file for confirmation that Cleaning is the cause: 
# log view debug/platform/infra.log

Cause

Filesystem cleaning in progress during upgrade precheck

Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Stop file system cleaning or wait for it to complete before retrying the upgrade or precheck.
