PowerStore: Drives Detected with Missing Encryption Keys
Summary: This article describes the PowerStore alert for "Drives detected with missing encryption keys."
Symptoms
A health check in the RxDefinitions package issues alert 0x03700103 for: "Drives detected with missing encryption keys."
Alert raised by this RxDefinition health check:

Cause
A specific drive model may not have a security key properly assigned to it after removal and insertion due to a delay during drive initialization. This issue has been seen when repeated drive inserts and removals while on earlier versions of the PowerStoreOS. Impacted drives are usable by the system, but its security key is deleted from the internal key store before the software completes the drive's initial configuration sequence.
Once this issue is encountered, the drive remains operable. However, on any subsequent HA event (node reboot), the PowerStoreOS detects that the drive is missing its key in the key store and the impacted drive may become inaccessible.
The alert is raised to inform the user that the appliance is operating with at least one drive with a missing key.
