In the Avamar Administrator, you see different status codes for issues with the Hardware, Global Storage Area Network (GSAN), Management Console Server (MCS), vCenter, proxies, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Data Domain (DD or DDR), Avamar Installer (AVI), Backup, and Recovery Manager (BRM) and backup and restore operations.

A full list of these event codes, including those which are obsolete, can be found on the Avamar Utility Node in the /usr/local/avamar/doc/ directory.

The two files contain similar information but in a different format:

  • event_summary.txt
  • event_catalog.txt
