PowerStore: Remote Syslog Server stops receiving messages from the PowerStore

Summary: A previously working remote logging configuration stops working, messages are not received by the Remote Syslog Server.

Symptoms

Test messages sent from PowerStore Manager to the Remote Syslog Servers are successful, however the system does not automatically send messages.

Cause

The rsyslog service on the PowerStore can run into an issue that causes it to stop sending queries to check for new audit events and as a result no messages are sent out.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in PowerStoreOS 4.x.
