Data Domain：STORAGE-00017 警报 |在同一磁盘组中的多个磁盘上检测到读取错误

Summary: Data Domain作系统 （DDOS） 持续监视磁盘运行状况。当同一磁盘组中的多个磁盘报告一小时内的读取错误时，DDOS 会触发警报 STORAGE-00017 并启动副本重建以保护数据完整性。

Symptoms

系统将生成以下警报： 

  • Event Id: EVT-STORAGE-00017
Event Message: Read errors have been detected on multiple disks in the same disk group.

Event Description:
There are too many disks reporting read errors in the same RAID group.
As each of these disks completes reconstruction it will be failed.
If the ongoing RAID reconstruction fails, there might be permanent loss of data.

    • (C) = Copy Rebuild Disk （source disk with errors）

Cause

DDOS 监视磁盘 SMART 和可靠性指标。当同一磁盘组中的多个磁盘 报告每小时超过 20 个读取错误时，DDOS 会标记 STORAGE-00017 并开始拷贝重建，以防止数据丢失。 
 

Resolution
