Symptoms

  • VSS가 활성화된 경우에만 파일 시스템 백업이 실패합니다.
  • VSS가 비활성화되면 백업이 성공적으로 완료됩니다.
  • 디버그 로그에 다음 오류가 나타납니다. 
    save-D3 Unable to find NetWorker install directory.
save-D9 PopulateSupportedWriterList() Exit.
save: Cannot back up the volume save set because the initialization of VSS did not succeed.
  • 모든 VSS writer가 안정적인 상태입니다.
  • 섀도 복사본이 없습니다.
  • 수동 VSS 섀도우 생성은 OS 레벨에서 작동합니다.
  • Windows 이벤트 뷰어에서 VSS 관련 오류가 발견되지 않습니다.

Cause

VSS 지원 백업 중에 NetWorker는 구성 요소 포함/제외 목록을 처리하기 위해 지원되는 writer 목록을 검색하려고 시도합니다.

이 오류는 NetWorker 설치 디렉토리를 찾을 수 없어 VSS 초기화가 실패하기 때문에 발생합니다. 

Resolution

NetWorker Client 설치를 복구합니다.

  • 표준 클라이언트에서 문제가 발생하면 NetWorker Client 패키지를 복구합니다.
  • NetWorker Server(클라이언트로 추가됨)에서 문제가 발생하면 전체 NetWorker 설치 패키지를 복구합니다.
