Instructions

With the release of CloudBoost 2.2.2, you can now change the average chunk size used within CloudBoost with the command avgchunksize.

  • Syntax:  
avgchunksize <show|change SIZE>
  • To show the current average chunk size, use avgchunksize show.
    Example:  
admin@mag-fs> avgchunksize show
  • Current average chunk size: 256 KB
  • To change the current average chunk size, use avgchunksize change #, where # is the size in KB.  
    Example: 
admin@mag-fs> avgchunksize change 1024

Additional Information

  1. avgchunksize is a hidden command.
  2. Max average chunk size supported is 1MB, which could lead to max chunk size of 4MB.
