什麼是 LTO M8 卡匣？
- 您可以建立 LTO-7 M 型媒體，之後使用以最後兩個字元「M8」結尾的自動化條碼標籤來識別。
- 只有未使用的全新 LTO-7 磁帶匣才能初始化為 LTO-7 Type M 媒體。一旦盒式磁帶初始化為 M 型，它就不能更改回 6TB LTO-7 磁帶盒。
- 初始化為 LTO-7 Type M 媒體的 LTO-7 磁帶匣只能在 LTO-8 磁帶機中寫入和讀取。
- LTO-7 磁碟機無法讀取 LTO-7 M 型媒體。
- 不支援 M8 WORM 卡匣。
關於 LTO 9 媒體最佳化
- • 在將數據寫入 LTO 磁帶盒之前，您可以使用 LTO 9 驅動器優化 LTO9 磁帶盒。

Dell 支援上的 Dell PowerVault 磁帶相容性比較表說明，所有 LTO-7、LTO-8 和 LTO-9 的輸送量均相同的 300 MB/s，但 Dell PowerVault LTO 磁帶匣 頁面和其他廠商資料指出全高磁碟機的輸送量較高。
