How to collect Drive Log of a ML6000 Tape library

Symptoms

In case of an issue sometimes a Log from one or more Drives is needed. Below you can find two descriptions how to do this via Web interface.

 Connect to the library via the web interface and sign in.

Standard user: admin
Standard password: password

Within „Tools" select „Drive Operations".

Choose "Retrieve tape drive log" and confirm with "Next".

In that window select the Drive from which you want to export the log by enable the checkbox and confirm with "Next".

Confirm the Downloads with "Apply"

At this massage confirm again with "OK".

After the Log was collected you will get a download via the Browser.


If you need the log from a different drive go back to the drive-selection and choose the next one.
