Symptoms

Logs are records of events that occur on a system, either by a user or by a running process. They help track what happened and troubleshoot issues if they occur. Please follow the instructions below to obtain a Library dump, also known as a Servicedump, from a PowerVault 124T via the web interface.

 

  1. Stop all jobs in your backup software and wait until the display shows "System Ready".
     
  2. Connect to the Autoloader via the web interface.
     
  3. Select "Error Logs and Diagnostics"

  4. Go to  "View Error and History Logs"

    Click on "Save Logs".


     
  5. Presently, there will be a download shown via the browser.

Select a location and save the loader.txt on your system.
