Symptoms

Nota: DD3300 esegue una versione modificata del software Data Domain (DD) Virtual Edition (DDVE).

Cause

iDRAC non aggiorna le informazioni di storage.
 
Per iDRAC ci si è sempre aspettati di essere in grado di aggiornare l'inventario di storage e fornire le informazioni più recenti e corrette sui dischi a PTAgent (su ESXi) e vulcanmon (su DDOS) quando un disco viene rimosso o inserito.
 
A volte iDRAC non si aggiorna e deve essere reimpostato manualmente.

Resolution

  1. Reimpostare iDRAC online utilizzando l'interfaccia utente.
  2. Eseguire un ripristino a freddo (noto anche come "drenaggio delle pulci") in base alla procedura di ripristino BMC (nota anche come "scarico delle pulci").
  3. Controllare e confermare che gli avvisi correlati siano scomparsi e che l'hardware del disco venga visualizzato come previsto.
