Symptoms

升级 NetWorker Virtual Edition （NVE） 一体机时，升级失败。在 NVE 的 /data01/avamar/repo/temp/*/tmp/workflow.log管理此进程：

Cause

存在非 UTF-8 字符”“在服务器保护策略的”通知“字段中：

mail -h smtp.domain.com -s 'Networker Bootstrap Recovery Clone failed' backupadmin@email.com

该命令似乎是从另一个地方复制和粘贴的，并且带有一个非 UTF-8 字符。

此字段不支持非 UTF-8 字符，这就是失败的原因。

Resolution

  1. 打开 NetWorker Management Console （NMC）。
  2. 转至 Protection 选项卡下的 Server Protection 策略。
  3. 右键单击 服务器保护 策略。
  4. 从通知字段中删除并手动重新输入通知命令，以避免任何不支持的字符，单击 OK按钮。
  5. 返回到 Installation Manager，然后单击重试按钮。
