Symptoms

 

現象

次の現象のうち 1 つ以上が発生します。

  • PowerFlex UIに接続できない
  • PowerFlex UIが応答しない
  • プレゼンテーション サーバー(mgmt-server)プロセスを正常に停止できません

問題

  • PowerFlexユーザー インターフェイスを使用してシステムを管理することはできません
  • Presentation Serverのホストシャットダウンプロセスが遅れることがある

 

Cause

根本的な原因

ソフトウェアの問題により、長期間使用するとPresentation Serverプロセスが応答しなくなることがありました。

 

Resolution

対策

プレゼンテーション サーバー プロセスを強制的に終了します。

Presentation ServerのプロセスID(PID)をメモします。

ps -ef |grep -v grep |grep com.emc.vxflexos.webui.backend.Server

In the sample output below, the PID of the Presentation Server is 39449.

mgmt-se+ 39449 1 9 Jun22 ? 1-09:40:08 /bin/java -Xmx4g -Djna.tmpdir=/opt/emc/scaleio/mgmt-server/tmp -Djava.io.tmpdir=/opt/emc/scaleio/mgmt-server/tmp -Dstorage.diskCache.bufferSize=2000 -Dlog4j2.configurationFile=/etc/mgmt-server/.config/log4j2.xml -cp /opt/emc/scaleio/mgmt-server/lib/* com.emc.vxflexos.webui.backend.Server -d metaData.dbType=Persistent

プレゼンテーション サーバー プロセスを終了します。

前の手順でメモしたPIDと置き換えます。

通常のキルから始めます。

kill <pid>

これでプロセスが強制終了されなかった場合は、次のようにkillコマンドをステップアップします(上記のpsコマンドを再実行して確認します)。

kill -HUP <pid>

これでプロセスが強制終了されなかった場合は、次のようにkillコマンドを再度ステップアップします(上記のpsコマンドを再実行して確認します)。  

kill -9 <pid>

ユーザーが最初に最後のプロセスに移動すべきでない理由は、-9 ではプロセスがそれ自体をクリーンアップする時間を与えないためです。kill -9 は、一般的には最後の手段としてのみ使用する必要があります。
