Symptoms
VM instant access restore failed with error
"Reached the maximum number of instant access sessions allowed on Data Domain system"
Cause
During VM instant access, a temporary NFS share will be created on the Data Domain (DD) system. This issue could occur if a previous NFS temp share was left on DD after an instant access attempt.
Resolution
--Login Avamar GUI
--Go to ServerData Domain NFS datastores
Then remove any mount point there manually
--Go to ServerData Domain NFS datastores
Then remove any mount point there manually
