Symptoms

PowerFlex 코드를 업그레이드한 후 RMcache 및 제로 패딩이 활성화되면 PowerFlex 볼륨을 사용하는 애플리케이션이 손상을 보고합니다.

RMcache가 활성화된 하드 드라이브 

RMcache는 HDD에서만 유용합니다. SSD와 함께 사용하지 마십시오.

 

증상

손상은 PowerFlex 로그에서 분명하게 드러나지 않습니다.

호스트 SDC 로그가 손상 관련 이벤트를 보고합니다. 다음은 ESXi SDC의 출력입니다.

데이터 무결성

Cause

애플리케이션이 캐시에 데이터를 쓸 때는 해당 데이터만 삭제되며 0이 아닌 다른 데이터는 캐시에 남습니다.

삭제되지 않은 RMcache 데이터는 후속 읽기가 수행될 때 클라이언트로 반환되어 손상될 수 있습니다.


 

 

Resolution

RMcache를 비활성화합니다.

수정 사항이 포함된 최신 PowerFlex 버전으로 업그레이드합니다.
