Symptoms

Tüm esxi ana bilgisayarlarının, ayrı Yedekleme VLAN'larında ve Yönetim VLAN'larında olduğu tespit edildi. 
 

NetWorker Sunucusundaki yedekleme günlüğünden görüldüğü üzere, vProxy yedeklemesi başarısız oluyor ve aşağıdaki hatayı veriyor:

Cause

vProxy'nin yalnızca kendisiyle aynı esxi ana bilgisayarında bulunan VM'leri yedekleyeceği tespit edildi. vProxy, ayrı bir esxi ana bilgisayarında bulunan bir VM'yi yedeklemeye çalışırsa aşağıda gösterildiği gibi 902 numaralı bağlantı noktasına bağlanamaz:
  
Could not connect to ESX host esxi_hostname: Failed to connect to server esxi_hostname:902.

Testing connectivity from the vProxy to the esxi host in question using the below command, hangs, and eventually fails to connect, though ping and nslookup, return expected results. 

#curl -kv esxi_hostname:902

Verified the firewall is down on the esxi hosts.

esxcli network firewall set -e false

Verified no layer2 firewall exists, or any firewall between the esxi hosts. 
 

Resolution

Esxi ana bilgisayarlarının hepsinin ayrı yedekleme/yönetim VLAN'larında olduğu ve 902 numaralı bağlantı noktası üzerinden iletişim kuramadıkları tespit edildi. Esxi ana bilgisayarları ve vproxy arasında 902 numaralı bağlantı noktası üzerinden iletişim kurabilmesi gerekir.
